Winter time...

I'm home on Christmas break and it is so great! Some changes have taken place in our lives the last few months....I went back to work, Todd's grandma (Lu) passed away, and Todd was laid off of his job almost 8 years and started a new job. I say this only to say that the Lord has provided for us and things, although difficult, seem to make sense. We are grateful for each other and for our loving families. I hope that all of you have been able to do the same. Here are a few pictures of our Christmas!

Ainsley's Birthday!

We had a quiet birthday this year for Ainsley's 4th birthday. It ended up just being us and the grandparents (except Dad & Jill, but they'll be up here for Alise's :o) I think that Ainsley had a great birthday even though we ended up celebrating it late due to volleyball season! Ainsley got a bunch of new clothes which she needed desperately!

I'm here!

Ok, so it's been awhile! I started back to work this fall teaching physical education and coaching the JV volleyball team at PACT Charter School in Ramsey. I know, I took on way too much! The volleyball season just ended, so I now feel like a new woman :o)

Build a deck anyone?

OK, so we went down to Illinois last weekend to help build a deck for Todd's cousin Jason and Renee. I had a bet going that there was no way that they'd finish the deck in 2 days, but to my suprise they did! It is beautiful!

It was great to be able to spend time with everyone. The kids had a blast together! It was hard to leave! We're going to make a HUGE effort to make more trips down to Illinois.

Reunion

The reunion itself was great! There were a few mishaps with the caterer, but overall it was a great time. It was so much fun to see classmates again. I ended up with a great friendship....Amanda Lunetta and I became great friends out of all of our planning! OK, so I went and left my camera at home! Ben Douma did the honors and took a ton of pictures at both events of the reunion. Thank you, Ben! Above is a picture of the Class of 1993 (no our class wasn't that small....just those who were at the dinner), Ben Douma, Kevin O'Brien, and myself, Mandy and I, Ainsley and Jeremy, and a family picture.

Illinois

Even though it was a tough time losing Amy, we were able to spend a lot of time with family. Aunt Lisa took a nice family picture for us. Since some family members have requested that I post more pictures of Todd and I, here you go!

Amy is home with Jesus

Amy passed away yesterday, Wednesday 4/23, after being brought to the hospital by ambulance the previous morning. She was having difficulty breathing. Her breathing continued to worsen until she passed away. She had a long battle with cancer, and is now in peace. She will be so missed. We love her dearly.

Her services will be held at Meadow Creek Church on Saturday 4/26. There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. and her service at 11 a.m. Amy will be buried in Illinois on Monday.

Birthdays!

We celebrated both Amy and Gummy's birthdays a few weeks ago. Better late than never, right?! Here's a few pictures!

Transportation Museum

Ok, I know that it's been a long time since I've added anything.....I started my masters through Liberty Univ., and pretty much all of my "extra" time is being used to study.

Today we went to the transportation museum in St. Paul, and the girls had a great time! They had old train cars that you can walk into and explore, and tables set up with Thomas the Tank Engine for the kids to play with. It was fun! Here's a few pictures of the girls :o)
